Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Bharatio Bangali Hindu Samaj Sewa Sangathan (BBHSSS), we deeply value the trust and support of our donors and well-wishers. As a registered nonprofit organization, your contributions help us achieve our mission of serving society through education, health, social awareness, and cultural development.

Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making any donations.

1. Donations and Payments

All donations made to BBHSSS are voluntary and non-refundable.
Once a donation is processed successfully, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except under special circumstances (see Section 2).
Donations may be made via our official bank account, UPI, website, or authorized fundraising partners only.

2. Exceptional Refund Conditions

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional cases:

If the donation was made by error with an incorrect amount.
If the transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent.
If the donor provides a written request for refund within 7 days of the transaction, explaining the reason for the request.
In such cases, BBHSSS will verify the details and issue a refund at its discretion.

Please note that any bank charges, processing fees, or payment gateway charges will be deducted from the refundable amount.

3. Cancellation of Events or Services

In the event that a specific donation was made for a particular campaign, project, or event that has been cancelled or postponed, BBHSSS will offer the donor the option to:
- Redirect the donation to a similar cause, or
- Request a refund (in writing) within 10 days of cancellation notice.

4. Tax Deduction Receipts

Tax deduction receipts under 80G (if applicable) will only be issued for donations that are not refunded or cancelled.
If a refund is issued, any issued 80G receipt will be nullified and must be returned or discarded.
